Keeping The Beauty

Glenwood Cemetery conducts ongoing work to preserve and improve the monuments, memorials, and grounds. We utilize cemetery professionals for maintenance and we partner with the University of Michigan-Flint's cemetery preservation program. Under the direction of Dr. Thomas Henthorn, students are learning the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehabilitation to survey existing conditions, clean gravestones, and perform minor repairs.
